Desta Energy supports a phased BESS assembly and manufacturing roadmap designed to reduce execution risk, grow local capability and lower storage costs over time.
Phase 1: Assemble and Deploy
Import pre-tested modules, PCS and BMS from trusted suppliers. Establish a lean integration facility for containerisation, rack integration, transformers, HVAC, fire suppression and Factory Acceptance Testing.
Phase 2: Integrate and Localise
Move towards CKD assembly, cell grading, sorting, welding, slave-BMS integration and deeper domestic sourcing of transformers, switchgear, cables and enclosures.
Phase 3: Manufacture and Lead
Move towards deeper value addition, possible cell-manufacturing partnerships, technology licensing, joint ventures and long-term domestic manufacturing capability.
